Asamoah Gyan thrilled fans over the weekend in Ghana after he joined his former teammates in an exhibition game at the McDan Park in Accra.
The 37-year-old and his Black Stars teammates engaged the Leonard Foundation in an exciting game, with the ex-stars beating their opponents 3-1.
Former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah; Gyan's elder brother, Baffour Gyan; and John Paintsil were all on target for the former stars.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Gyan swerved his marker with a lovely dummy before he was fouled in the box.
The fans at the McDan Park enjoyed the moment as they chanted Gyan's name throughout the game.
The former Ghana captain retired from football in June following a career spanning almost two years, in which he ended up becoming the country's all-time top scorer.
Gyan led Ghana to three World Cups, scoring six goals to become Africa's all-time top scorer at the global showpiece.
He played for Udinese, Modena, Stade Rennais, and Sunderland in Europe before moving to Asia to join Al Ain, as reported by Transfermarkt.
Gyan celebrates Kudus after debut goal
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Gyan praised Mohammed Kudus for the improvements in his game after he netted his debut English Premier League goal for West Ham.
The 23-year-old came off the bench to score a late equalizer as the Hammers shared the spoils with Newcastle United at the London Olympic Stadium.
Gyan was impressed with the performance of the Black Stars midfielder, highlighting the key improvements in his play.

Gyan led a youth clinic session for young footballers at Tampa Bay Rowdies following his visit to the United States.
The 37-year-old was in the US for personal business, but took time off his busy schedule to honour an invite from Tampa Bay Rowdies, as he schooled aspiring footballers on the basics of the game.
Gyan also spent time signing autographs and taking photos with fans who were at the venue to watch the former Ghana captain.
