Former Nigerian international, Mikel Obi has stated that Victor Osimhen will score plenty of goals if he moves to the English Premier League.
The former Chelsea midfielder says he hopes that the 24-year-old moves to the Stamford Bridge club despite interest from Manchester United.
Osimhen has been the subject of the transfer rumours as the Napoli striker is yet to renew his deal with the Italian outfit.
Controversial footage which was posted on Napoli’s official TikTok account left the player disappointed as he deleted all his pictures in the club’s outfit from his Instagram account, GOAL reports.

FootballThere were concerns that the striker could be looking for his way out despite leading them to the Serie A title last season.
And Mikel has stated that Osimhen will cope in the EPL. The former Stoke City star told Obione Podcast:
“I think when I look back at him a few years ago, but now, watching him last season and watching him this season, I would say definitely.
“He would come into the Premier League and slot right in. He will get you goals, he will run behind defenders, he will stretch the team and I think that’s what probably a lot of the teams now in the Premier League.
“That’s what they are looking for; a striker who wants to run behind the defenders because then it helps the team.
“Because it stretches the defenders, I hope he comes to Chelsea. But from the noises that I hear, I think he’s a big United, I think probably.”
