Match week eight of the Premier League had some interesting results as Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, and Tottenham Hotspur all won their respective fixtures.
Manchester City and Liverpool were undoubtedly the biggest losers this weekend, with both teams dropping points.
Pep Guardiola's charges suffered their second successive league defeat during their trip to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to fall off from the top spot.
City were keen to bounce back to winning ways during the tie to maintain their grip on the summit, having previously lost to Wolves.
However, The Mirror reports that Gabriel Martinelli's late goal condemned them to a comprehensive defeat, with the result seeing them drop to third in the standings with 18 points.
Tottenham climb to top
As it stands, Tottenham will be heading into the international break as league leaders, thanks to their incredible run of form under Angel Postecoglou.
Premier League reports Spurs and Arsenal are the only two sides yet to suffer defeat in the league, with the former securing a 1-0 hard-fought win in their latest outing against Luton Town.
The result has them topping the charts with 20 points, on level with rivals Arsenal.
However, Postecoglou's men have a superior goal difference against the Gunners.
Meanwhile, City's back-to-back defeats have them sitting third in the standings with 18 points, a point ahead of Liverpool, who were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton on Sunday.

Chelsea, Man United record positive results
Elsewhere, English giants Chelsea and Man United recorded positive results in their respective fixtures against Burnley and Brentford, respectively.
The Blues hammered Burnley 4-1 at Turf Moor, with United staging a dramatic comeback to see off the Bees at Old Trafford.
Despite the encouraging results, both teams are still languishing in the middle of the table, with only a point separating them.
United currently occupy 10th place with 12 points, while Chelsea sit 11th with 11 points.
Meanwhile, Burnley, Bournemouth, and Sheffield United are the three teams occupying the relegation zone.
Sheffield United currently sit bottom after picking up just one point in eight matches.
