Brighton fans have debuted a hilarious chant trolling Liverpool after they were controversially denied a penalty during their Premier League meeting.
The two teams faced off in an entertaining encounter on Sunday, October 8, settling for a 2-2 thrilling draw.
Liverpool went into the tie with the hope of getting a positive result, following their 2-1 controversial defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in their last outing.
The match was riddled with a VAR farce that saw the Reds denied a clear goal scored by Luis Diaz.
So controversial the incident was that Jurgen Klopp suggested the match should be replayed, per talkSPORT.
Brighton fans troll Liverpool
However, this weekend was seemingly Liverpool's turn to benefit from a contentious refereeing decision.
The Daily Star reports that with the scores at 2-1 following Mohamed Salah's first-half brace, Brighton thought they had won a penalty after Kaoru Mitoma's cross bounced off Virgil van Dijk's thigh and hit his arm.
The incident saw the Brighton camp launch an appeal for a penalty, only for referee Anthony Taylor to overlook the calls.
While VAR took a brief look at the incident, a penalty was not given either.
The decision saw Brighton fans aim their own dig at Klopp, with "we want a replay' chants renting the air.
Meanwhile, Lewis Dunk went on to equalise with 12 minutes left on the clock as the two sides settled for a 2-2 draw.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported it is understood that a replay could have happened had referee Hooper gone back and reversed the decision to award the goal.
