High Praise for Nigeria’s Olisa Ndah After MTN 8 Final Performance Against Mamelodi Sundowns

Orlando Pirates fans are thrilled to have Olisa Ndah back in the team.

The Nigerian defender has been a notable absentee for the Buccaneers this season but made a big return to the team in the MTN 8 final.

Ndah didn’t start the encounter but did come on as a substitute after the half-hour mark following Nkosinathi Sibisi’s injury.

Sibisi had to be taken off following a clash of heads with Sundowns’ Mothobi Mvala.

Ndah was given his chance and didn’t disappoint, putting on a stellar display as Pirates went on to defend their title.

After the game, coach Jose Riveiro reserved special praise for the defender, talking about his influential performance, iDiski Times reported.

“Olisa was exceptional, coming from the bench. Almost 10 months injured, and he was spectacular tonight,” he said.

It wasn’t only Riveiro who was impressed with Ndah’s showing, as fans took to social media to praise the star. Many poked fun at Sundowns, saying that the Nigerian pocketed their star players.
