Luis Castro has shed light on Sadio Mane's displeased reaction to being substituted during Al-Nassr's Saudi Pro League match against Abha on Friday, October 6.
Mane, who had arguably been Al-Nassr's standout performer during the game, was withdrawn from the pitch by the Portuguese coach with ten minutes remaining.
The decision to replace the former Liverpool and Bayern Munich winger didn't sit well with Mane, and his response clearly conveyed his feelings of disappointment, frustration, and anger.
As he made his way to the bench, the 31-year-old shrugged off attempts by Alex Telles and a member of the coaching staff who tried to console him.

Unfortunately, the tactical adjustment didn't yield the desired results, as Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who replaced Mane, had minimal influence on the game.
Meanwhile, Al-Nassr, in a puzzling turn of events, faltered in the final moments of the match, allowing Karl Toko Ekambi to score the equalizer for the visiting team, per Daily Sports.
During his post-match press conference, Luis Castro, who had been named the Saudi League Manager of the Month for September, addressed inquiries about Mane's frustration.
“Sadio Mane has the right to be angry, and it is normal in football,” the 62-year-old said as quoted by The Nassr Zone.
Mane's angry reaction after substitution
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Senegalese winger expressed his frustration after being taken off during Al-Nassr's draw against Ahba Club in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Liverpool star was actively involved as the Knights of Najd played to a 2-2 draw against the Leaders of the South in the Saudi Pro League.
In a video circulated on social media, the former Bayern Munich winger appeared displeased with Castro's choice to replace him, even though he had been one of the standout performers on the field.
