Riyad Mahrez reunited with former Leicester City teammate N'Golo Kante in Saudi Arabia during the league game between Al Ittihad and Al Ahli on Friday night.
The duo were part of the historic Leicester City team that defied all odds to win the 2016 English Premier League.
Subsequently, Mahrez left to join Manchester City while Kante joined London giants Chelsea.
Both players became successful with City and Chelsea, winning the UEFA Champions League and further Premier League titles.
In a post shared on social media, Mahrez expressed his excitement after meeting his former teammate.
"Brothers," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Meanwhile, in a star-studded game, it was the less-fancied Al Ahli that surprised Al Ittihald after securing a 1-0 win at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie scored the only goal of the game in the first-half as Al Ahli recovered from the defeat to Al Nassr and return to winning ways, as reported by ESPN.
"We are Al Ahli," an excited Mahrez posted after the match on social media.
Mahrez and Kante have been key players for their respective clubs this season as the race for the Saudi Pro League intensifies.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ivorian midfielder, Franck Kessie was the star of the Jeddah derby after netting the only goal of the match between Al Ahli and Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.
