Ivorian midfielder, Franck Kessie was the star of the Jeddah derby after netting the only goal of the match between Al Ahli and Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.
The former AC Milan and Barcelona midfielder fired home from the edge of the box to beat Marcelo Greho in the Ittihad post.
The visitors held on to end to finish the game with victory at the King Abdullah Sports City.
In a video shared on social media, Kessie - who earlier had to receive treatment for a cut to his head - left-footed the ball into the net from a Firas Al Birakan pass.
Al Ittihad were favourites going into the game with former Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema leading the star-studded side.
However, the Saudi Pro League returnees were the team that the started the game brightly after creating some good chances at the early stages of the match.
Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy was tested a few times by the Al Ittihad stars but the Senegal goalkeeper was up for the task.
Late into the game, Benzema had a goal ruled out as offside, as reported by ESPN.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie continued his goal-scoring run in the Saudi Pro League after netting a screamer in Al Ahli's victory over Al Ta'ee on Tuesday night.
The former Barcelona star fired from outside the box to beat Al Ta'ee's goalkeeper as Al Ahli secured all three points with a 2-0 win.

Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie was treated to the rich Arabian culture following his arrival at Saudi club Al Ahli.
