Kevin-Prince Boateng has described Lionel Messi's talent as unreal following his performance against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League in 2019.
The former Ghana midfielder played alongside the legendary Argentine during his loan spell at Barcelona in the 2018/19 season.
Messi produced one of the best performances of his career during the first-leg game against Liverpool at Camp Nou on May 1, 2019, scoring a second-half brace as the Catalan giants strolled to a 3-0 win.
Barcelona had led 1-0 from the first-half after Luis Suarez opened the scoring in the 26th minute.
However, Messi stole the show in the second half with a masterful display, which saw him score a superb freekick, as reported by Sky Sports.

FootballAccording to Boateng, he was intrigued by Messi's demeanour during the half-time talk as he showed no interest in the manager's talk, only to surprise him with that performance.
"The Liverpool game, when we scored 3-0, when he scored that freekick, unbelievable," Boateng told Vibes with FIVE. "So we come in the dressing room, he just sits down with his phone, he gets a massage with the physio down. Two minutes before we go out, he stands up, close his boots. We go out for warm ups, just long balls, control, dribbling a little bit, cross-bar challenge at a Liverpool Champions League game," he added.
"Coach makes like the last adjustment, talking, he is on his phone, facetiming, thirty seconds before we go out he just comes in, wears his jacket, goes out, boom, go go go... like this," continued Boateng.
Boateng's narration left Rio Ferdinand - one of the hosts of the show - surprised as they marvelled at the World Cup winner's talent.
