In a video shared on social media, Bukari is seen smashing home the leveller from an acute angle with two minutes remaining.

"I'm glad that I was declared the player of the match, but I'm really sorry that we didn't manage to win. We wanted to win, we played well, but in the end it was 2:2. Thanks to the fans for coming in such numbers and for giving us the wind at our backs during 90 minutes," said Bukari in the post-match interview.

Meanwhile, in an entertaining game at Rajko Mitic Stadium, the hosts opened the scoring just before half-time through Ndiaye.

However, the visitors equalized after the break through Filip Ugrinic before Cedric Itten gave Young Boys the lead from the spot moments later.

Bukari crowned off a spectacular display with a late goal to ensure Red Star Belgrade secured a point at home.

The former KAA Gent forward has been in top form since joining the Red and Whites in the summer of 2022, winning the domestic treble last season.

The 2022 World Cup star has now scored five goals across all competitions for Red Star Belgrade this season, as reported by Transfermarkt.

Bukari's first UCL goal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bukari netted his first UEFA Champions League goal after opening the scoring in the match against Manchester City at the Etihad.

The Black Stars forward broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time after beating the offside trap to connect to Mirko Ivanic's pass.

Bukari helped Red Star Belgrade reach the group stage following a string of excellent performances in the qualifiers.
