Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has fired a warning to Arsenal ahead of their Premier League meeting.
The two English giants are set to lock horns in the Premier League on Sunday, October 8, at the Emirates Stadium.
The match is predicted to have a bearing on how this season's title race could pan out, with the two sides rated as favourites to win the crown.
City have won all their matches of the new season, except for one, and currently sit at the summit of the standings with 18 points.
Arsenal have enjoyed an equally fine run of form so far, with Mikel Arteta's charges still unbeaten after seven outings.
Pep fires warning to Arsenal
Guardiola has now sent his title rivals a stern warning ahead of the Emirates showdown, revealing he has no doubts about his side.
The Spaniard made the claim after their 3-1 epic win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Manchester Evening News reports that Julian Alvarez came off the bench with 10 minutes to play to inspire his side to victory.
Speaking after the match, Pep exuded confidence that his charges will replicate the performance when they face the Gunners.
"I rely on these guys unconditionally, winning or not winning, because I know the training sessions, the mentality that they have and they prove it," Metro UK quoted Pep as saying.
"And now we are going to Arsenal to do our game. Rest and hopefully we can arrive in March, April, May being there [in the title race], close to the competitions.
