Former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has reacted to the intense battle he had with the Super Eagles striker during Real Madrid's win over Napoli in the UEFA Champions League.
The Spanish La Liga giants came back from a goal down to defeat the Italian side 3-2 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Tuesday, October 3.
The home side took the lead through Leo Ostigard in the 19th minute, but Vinicius Junior levelled things up eight minutes later.
Jude Bellingham scored from a wonderful solo run to give the visitors the lead before Piotr Zielinski scored from the penalty spot to keep the game level.
Real Madrid sealed all three points after an Alex Meret own goal gave the Spanish giants a 3-2 lead with just 12 minutes left to play, according to ESPN.
One of the main focuses of the game was the contest between Osimhen and Rudiger, and the German came out on top at the end of the match.
The former AS Roma defender didn't give the Nigerian striker space to operate upfront as the Napoli star finished the game without a goal.

"What an intense fight 🔥⚔️🦁 #Hustle #AlwaysBelieve #HalaMadrid #UCL," he said.
Real Madrid's win over Napoli put them on top of Group C with Braga sitting in third position, according to Vanguard News.
