The Riversides levelled things up in the ninth minute through Sammie Szmodics, but visitors restored their lead after a wonderful pass from Ndidi set up Jamie Vardy.

Nigerian international, Kelechi Iheanacho and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sealed the win for the Foxes with their goals very late in the second half.

Ndidi was named the EFL Player of the Match for his performance and while hailing him, Vardy spoke in Pidgin English as he told the Super Eagles star, "You Sabi."

When translated into English, the phrase means 'You are good'.

The video has gone viral on social media including X (formerly Twitter) with Nigerian football fans happy that the former England striker is learning one of their languages.

Ndidi, Iheanacho, and their teammates will return to action in Leicester City's next game against Preston North End at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday, October 4, according to Soccerway.
