Ronaldo skillfully executed a chipped goal from a tight angle after the hour mark to level the score for the Knights of Najd, with Anderson Talisca adding two more goals to secure a well-deserved 3-1 win for Luis Castro's team, per Sporting News.

According to Arab News, this victory maintained Al-Nassr's perfect start to Asia's premier club competition and solidified their position at the top of Group E.

While Ronaldo showcased some of his trademark skills during the match, including nutmegs against opposing defenders, a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) shows the 38-year-old getting a taste of his own medicine.

In the video, spotted by Sports Brief, he attempted to apply pressure on the Istiqlol defence as part of the Al-Nassr press. However, he was left red-faced when his opponent nonchalantly slipped the ball through his legs.

Ronaldo nets maiden AFC Champions League goal

In the same match, Ronaldo scored his inaugural goal in the Asian counterpart of Europe's most esteemed club competition, facing Istiqlol Dushanbe.

The seasoned forward skillfully outplayed the charging goalkeeper, expertly chipping the ball into the net from an extremely slim angle to open his tally.

Ronaldo has now amassed 12 goal contributions in his last eight matches for Al-Nassr (eight goals and four assists), demonstrating his sheer consistency.

Breakdown of Ronaldo's 732 club goals

Sports Brief also reported on Ronaldo further solidifying his GOAT status as arguably the greatest goal-scorer in football with another match-winning score during a top-flight game.

The 38-year-old's goal against Al-Tai in the Saudi Pro League elevated his total club football goal tally to an astonishing 732 in leagues across Europe and now the Middle East.

Ronaldo's incredible tally in his club career spans across his tenures with Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United (two spells), Real Madrid, Juventus, and now Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
