Retired Ghanaian footballer, Kevin-Prince Boateng has proclaimed Jesus as his lord and saviour after getting baptised in his native Germany.
The 36-year-old affirmed his religious vows after going through the sacred act, taking a new leaf in his life.
Boateng took to social media to share the moment with his millions of followers on Instagram.
“Revelation 3:20 - And It’s up to US to open the Door or not. JESUS is The way, The truth and The life,” he wrote on Instagram.
The former AC Milan and Barcelona forward currently works as an ambassador for Euro 2024 to be held in Germany next year.

FootballBoateng was born in Berlin to Ghanaian parents, where he started his career playing for local club Hertha Berlin.
The versatile player represented the European nation at youth levels but decided to switch nationalities and play for the country of his father in 2009. He was a member of the Black Stars team that reached the quarter-final of the 2010 World Cup.
In a career spanning close to two decades, Boateng featured for 15 clubs across Europe, as reported by transfermarkt.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Former Ghana midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng disclosed that he only had one conversation with Lionel Messi during his time at Barcelona.
Boateng played alongside the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner during his loan spell in Spain with the Catalan giants.
The 37-year-old insists he only spoke to Messi once and it was the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner inquiring about the state of the Serie A.
