Ivory Coast forward, Wilfried Zaha says it is a dream come true to score his first goal in Europe's elite competition, the UEFA Champions League.
Zaha netted his maiden goal in the competition to help Galatasaray beat his former club, Manchester United, at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The former Crystal Palace star joined the Turkish giants in the summer transfer window but had a slow start to the campaign due to injury.
However, the 30-year-old made a swift recovery and has now netted in back-to-back games for Galatasaray.
"It's dream come true really. I am happy to be playing in this competition and scoring goals," he told TNT after the game.
"It's not even just the game, it's the build-up. When we were driving here on the coach we were playing the Champions League music - it's a different feeling. I've finally made it here.
"There's nothing like it. It's literally playing between the best and a chance to showcase my talent between the best. I feel like that's where it is decided whether you're good or not, so days like today are what it's all about for me."
Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring for Manchester United after 17 minutes but Zaha responded six minutes later. The Danish forward restored United's lead after the break before Kerem Akturkoglu levelled for the visitors.
Things went from bad to worse for the Red Devils after Casemiro was sent off for a challenge in the box on Mauro Icardi. The Argentina striker missed the penalty but later made amends with the winner for Galatasaray, as reported by The Guardian.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ivory Coast winger, Wilfried Zaha returned to Old Trafford to score a spectacular goal for Galatasaray against his former employers, Manchester United, in the UEFA Champions Champions League.
The former Crystal Palace forward scored to cancel an early lead from Rasmus Hojlund in the second Group A encounter.
Zaha spent two years at Manchester United between 2013 to 2015, enduring a difficult spell with the Red Devils.
