Ivory Coast winger, Wilfried Zaha returned to Old Trafford to score a spectacular goal for Galatasaray against his former employers, Manchester United, in the UEFA Champions Champions League.

The former Crystal Palace forward scored to cancel an early lead from Rasmus Hojlund in the second Group A encounter.

Zaha spent two years at Manchester United between 2013 to 2015, enduring a difficult spell with the Red Devils.

However, his return to England after leaving in the summer saw him make a mark for his new club, Galatasaray.

In a video shared on social media, Zaha wrestled United defender Diogo Dalot for a long pass from Davinson Sanchez before acrobatically firing home for the leveller.

Manchester United had taken the lead six minutes earlier after a swift counter attack with Hojlund netting his second goal of the competition.

The Danish attacker gave the Red Devils the lead after the break before Kerem Akturkoglu restored the parity for the visitors.

Casemiro was sent off after a tackle on Mauro Icardi but the Argentine missed from the spot, as reported by The Guardian.

The ex-Inter Milan made amends for his missed penalty after pouncing on a Sanchez pass to finish off brilliantly.

The English giants lost their first game of the group in Germany in a seven-goal thriller against Bayern Munich, and currently sit bottom of the group after their second loss in two games.

Wilfried Zaha unbothered by failed United stint

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Wilfried Zaha says he is not bothered after failing to make an impact during his time with English giants Manchester United.

The Galatasaray forward returns to Old Trafford for the first time since leaving the English Premier League in the summer transfer window.

The Ivory Coast winger spent two seasons at Manchester United, struggling to settle at the club despite arriving from Crystal Palace as one of the brightest talents in Europe in 2013.
