According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils splashed out an eyewatering £55million to land the midfielder back in July.

Mount's move to Old Trafford sparked anger and outrage from Chelsea supporters, with some branding him a traitor.

While the 24-year-old took some time to send an emotional farewell message to the Blues' support base, some are seemingly yet to forgive him.

Chelsea fans mock Mount

Sportbible reports that a section of fans who remain disappointed with Mount's transfer have now come up with a brutal chant to make the midfielder aware of their disapproval of the move.

The publication reports that the Chelsea supporters belted out the chant on Monday night during their Premier League clash against Fulham.

"Who's that t**t that comes from Portsmouth, who's that money-grabbing wh*re, Mason Mount is his name and he hasn't got a brain, and he won’t be winning trophies anymore," the fans chanted.

The Blues won the tie 2-0, with Mykhailo Mudryk getting his name on the scoresheet for his first goal for the club.

Armando Broja was also on target as Mauricio Pochettino's men marched to victory.

Chelsea pride in Reece James

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Chelsea took pride in Reece James after the defender responded to a fan teasing a move to Arsenal for him.

The club’s Twitter was quick to brand him ‘One of our own’, in what appeared to be a direct dig at Arsenal and at Mason Mount, an academy star who decided to join rivals Manchester United.

Mount spent his entire football career with Chelsea before he moved to Old Trafford.
