Cristiano Ronaldo has bagged another award in the Saudi Pro League. The Al-Nassr strike was named the Player of the Month (POTM) for September.
The veteran striker also won the POTM award for August after an incredible start to the season.
After Al-Nassr's poor start to the 2023/24 season, the 38-year-old's impressive performances saw them win six straight games. In September alone, Ronaldo scored five goals and provided three assists.
The Portuguese star scored five goals and provided two assists in August to win the award. He also won it in February, shortly after joining Al-Nassr, meaning he has now won it three times.
Overall, in the 2023/24 season, Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in the Saudi Pro League in seven appearances, making him the top scorer. Al-Nassr are fourth in the SPL with 18 points in eight games. Neymar's Al-Hilal are top of the pile with 20 points.

Ronaldo now has 23 goals in the Saudi Pro League and seven assists; that is 30 goal involvements in 23 games.
Before the league season commenced, Ronaldo and Al-Nassr won the Arab Club Champions Cup, his first trophy with the Middle Eastern club. He scored six goals in the competition to win the Golden Boot.
He paved the way for other top players from Europe to move to Saudi Arabia. The likes of Neymar, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Riyad Mahrez, and others have grown the popularity of the league.

Ronaldo, who had been in exceptional form since the beginning of the season, scored his inaugural goal in Asia's premier club competition. Anderson Talisca then completed the turnaround with a brace at Al-Awwal Park.
The 3-1 victory solidified Al-Nassr's position at the top of Group E with six points, establishing a three-point lead over second-placed Persepolis.
