Kvaratskhelia on facing Real Madrid
The 22-year-old has had a paradoxical start to the 2023/24 season, as reported by Football Italia, and spoke about his excitement about playing against Real Madrid.
"It is impossible not to be happy with a night like this when you face Real Madrid in your stadium."
The Georgian forward scored 12 goals and set up 10 in 34 Serie A appearances, as reported by Goal. He further highlighted his side's chances of defeating Los Blancos.
"I grew up watching Real Madrid on TV, and today I want to beat them. We're not scared of them."
While Kvaratskhelia fancies his side's chances of clinching victory, it should be recalled that the Neopolitans are yet to secure a win against the Spanish club, failing in four previous attempts and their best result being the 1-1 home draw in the 1987/88 season, according to data from UEFA.com.
