  • Carlo Ancelotti is wary of Victor Osimhen's threat ahead of Real Madrid's clash with Napoli in the Champions League
  • The Super Eagles star is currently one of the best strikers in the world and could cause problems for Los Blancos
  • The Nigerian international is not the only Napoli player Ancelotti mentioned during his press conference

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen ahead of his team's clash with Napoli in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, October 3.

The matchday two of the European elite club group stage round will involve several top games, with the clash between Los Blancos and the Partenopei being one of them.

The Spanish La Liga giants will travel to Italy to face the Serie A side at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Ahead of the game, Ancelotti, during his press conference singled out two Napoli stars who could hurt his team in the match, according to Complete Sports.

“They are very good forwards who have really broken out in the last year, they have demonstrated their quality and shown they are top-level players,” he said.
“They have amazing talent with different characteristics. Kvaratskhelia is very strong one-on-one and Osimhen is very dangerous.”

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world at the moment and could be a problem for Real Madrid defenders when they meet on Tuesday.

The former Lille is back in form after going on a few games without scoring a goal, but back-to-back goals against Udinese and Lecce means he is now back in form.

Ancelotti wants Real Madrid to sign Osimhen

Sports Brief earlier reported that Real Madrid were interested in signing Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen ahead of England striker Harry Kane last summer transfer.

According to Sportskeeda, Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti suggested that Real Madrid make a move for Osimhen instead after his impressive season with Napoli.

Osimhen was Napoli's leading attacker when they won the Serie A last season, as the Nigerian striker, who is still only 24, scored 31 goals and provided five assists in 39 matches this season across all competitions.
