Zlatan Ibrahimovic has questioned Erik ten Hag's suitability to lead Manchester United to greater heights after a poor start to the season.
The Red Devils have already lost four of their opening seven games of the 2023/2024 season - their worst start in 34 years.
Their latest defeat came at the hands of Crystal Palace in front of their own home ground as they went down by a solitary goal.
The belief was rife that the club would perform better in this campaign following last season's satisfactory results. Ten Hag guided United to the Carabao Cup - their first trophy in six years- plus a third-place finish on the table.
However, this season, he has been dealt a different set of cards, with the Dutch manager forced to deal with on and off-the-pitch issues. Jadon Sancho and Antony have been rocked with indiscipline issues to go with the high number of absentees occasioned by injuries to the first-team players.
Ibrahimovic compares Ajax to Man United
Ibrahimovic has now questioned ten Hag's approach by drawing comparisons to his former club Ajax and his current workstation.
"Coming from Ajax to United as he did is a big difference. I have been in both clubs. You have a different kind of discipline. Ajax is a talented club. They have the best talents in the club. They don't have big stars. What is the experience of this coach? Young talents, he comes to United, it is a different mentality," said the Swede in his interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, as quoted by Metro News.

Football"The players there are supposed to be big stars. I don't think you give the same treatment."
Piers Morgan has been a vocal critic of ten Hag since he booted Cristiano Ronaldo out of the club before the World Cup break last year.
The interview will also touch on Ibrahimovic's relationship with his former agent, the late Mino Raiola and why he refers to himself as 'god', among other things.
