- Paintsil has been in fine form for KRC Genk this season
Ghana and KRC Genk winger, Joseph Paintsil is unhappy with his latest EA FC rating, claiming he should have scored more than he was marked.
Paintsil scored a total rating of 75 with an impressive 90 for pace.
Ahead of the release of EA FC 2024, footballers have been receiving their ratings based on several attributes on the pitch, including shooting, passing, and dribbling.
In a video shared on social media, a dissatisfied Paintsil is seen remonstrating over his new marks, insisting he should have scored at least 78.
His reaction gesture got his teammates laughing as he tried to analyze his number. He even compared his pace to France and Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe.
Painstil has been in sensational form for KRC Genk this season, scoring his second goal of the campaign in the 3-3 draw against Westerlo on Sunday.
"Disappointed we couldn’t get the win for you Genkies. Already looking forward to our next fixture," wrote the 25-year-old on social media after the match.
The tricky and pacy winger came close to leaving Genk in the summer transfer window after English clubs Southampton, Leeds, and Burnley showed interest in his services.
Paintsil named MOTM in Anderlecht win
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Paintsil scored a brace in Genk's win over Anderlecht to be named the Man of the Match following his outstanding display.
The 25-year-old was unplayable as Genk tore apart the former champions 5-2 at the Cegeka Arena.
Painstil also provided an assist in the game as Genk extended their lead at the top of the table with a game left to finish the season.
