Inside look at all of Chelsea's injured players as Pochettino continues to struggle
FootballFull Chelsea Squad Travelling to Fulham as Mauricio Pochettino Set to Be without Nicolas Jackson
- Chelsea face a tricky fixture away at Craven Cottage on Monday, October 2
- The Blues are looking for back-to-back wins for the first time under Mauricio Pochettino
- Mauricio Pochettino will be without his match-winner in his last game Nicolas Jackson
Chelsea will have to face Fulham in the London derby without the services of their striker Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson is absent after picking up five yellow cards in his opening six appearances for the Blues, which inevitably leads to a one-match suspension.
The Senegal forward’s absence will be a huge miss for the Blues, as he has been Mauricio Pochettino’s best chance at goals in recent games amid the Blues’ struggles in front of goal.
In the absence of the £32million man, Chelsea will have to readjust themselves in a bid to get one over Marco Silva’s side, who sit three places above them on the log in 12th place.
Who is available for Chelsea?
Besides Jackson, Pochettino struggles to get his best starting XI as he battles for points without other key names.
Ben Chilwell, recently moved to central defence, suffered another setback after picking up a hamstring injury in the Brighton clash last week. Pochettino confirmed the injury was worse than feared, according to BBC.
"The doctor told me is it is a bad injury but we need to assess in the next few days the period that it is going to be. It doesn't look good. It's difficult to know, the club will communicate." The Chelsea boss said on Friday as cited on Football London.
In midfield, Moises Caicedo was seen hobbling towards the end of the Carabao Cup clash against Brighton, but he still makes the match day squad travelling to Craven Cottage.
