Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho was recently spotted watching the academy team at Carrington amid an ongoing feud with Erik ten Hag.
Sancho remains exiled from United’s first team as he refuses to apologize to his manager after publicly calling him out in a now-deleted social media post.
Ten Hag had initially talked to media after United’s defeat to Arsenal on September 3 where he claimed Sancho’s absence was because of the England international’s poor training. Sancho then went on a social media tirade, accusing his manager of using him as a ‘scapegoat’.
This fallout led to Sancho getting banned from accessing the team’s first team facilities, including the dining area, but it appears accessing the under 18’s team is not a breach of any kind for the winger.
Sancho spotted at Carrington
As cited on Manchester Evening News, Sancho was present to watch the U18 team take on Newcastle United on Saturday.
Incidentally, this came at a time when the United first team faced Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in a game which they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat.
Also in Sancho’s presence was youngster Kobbie Mainoo, who is currently out of the squad due to an ankle injury.
This is not the first time Sancho has been spotted with the younger Manchester United squad. In September, as United took on Brighton, Sancho was spotted hanging around the U18s face Nottingham Forest.

FootballSports Brief also reported on the latest on Jadon Sancho amid a growing feeling that there is no room for reconciliation with Ten Hag.
British newspaper inews now reports that insiders have revealed their relationship is ‘beyond repair’.
“If he [Sancho] were simply to apologize now and admit the manager was right, it would undermine going public with his views and invite similar treatment in the future”. The sources were quoted saying.
