  • Arsenal are likely to miss the services of at least six key players when they take on Bournemouth
  • Bukayo Saka is among the players who could miss the Saturday trip to the Vitality Stadium
  • The Gunners remain unbeaten in six Premier League outings of the new season

Mikel Arteta is facing a major injury crisis ahead of Arsenal's Premier League clash against Bournemouth.

The Gunners are scheduled to face the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, September 30.

The match comes at a time when the north Londoners are enjoying an impressive run of form, with the side still unbeaten after six outings in the EPL.

Arteta's charges have picked up 14 points from the six fixtures, with two of them ending in draws.

Arsenal's last outing ended in a 2-2 thrilling draw with rivals Tottenham Hotspur, with Son Heung-Min netting a brace, per BBC.

The Emirates dwellers will therefore be keen to secure a win when they take on Bournemouth in their bid to keep up pace with league leaders, Manchester City.

However, they will have to do this without a host of key players, who are currently sidelined with injuries.

The Mirror reports that at least six Arsenal players are currently out with injuries ahead of the Bournemouth clash.

Bukayo Saka headlines the list of the sidelined players, with the youngster understood to be nursing a knock picked up during the North London derby.

Declan Rice also appears to still be battling a knock, while the striking duo of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are also doubts.

The pair of William Saliba and Fabio Vieira were deemed not fit enough for Wednesday's win away at Brentford, and it remains unclear if they will be available for the Bournemouth trip.
