The 38-year-old was sensational in the match. He provided the assists for Anderson Talisca's 32nd-minute goal and nearly supplied another sublime assist moments later.

The hosts pegged back Ronaldo's side by scoring an equalizer in the 79th minute. It looked like Al-Nassr's five-game winning streak was coming to an end, but the veteran Portuguese forward stepped up to convert a match-winning penalty.

Al-Nassr are now fourth in the table with 18 points after eight games. Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in the SPL, making him the top scorer.

Ronaldo and Al-Nassr fans share moment

After the match, Ronaldo was all smiles as he thanked the fans for their unrelenting support this season.

Ronaldo and other Al-Nassr players stood in front of the fans, grinning from ear to ear as they performed a celebratory post-match routine with the fans, as seen in a video posted on X by SPL.

As the camera panned to Ronaldo, he winked and smiled. It seems the veteran forward has gotten his happiness back after his sudden and unceremonious departure from Man United.

Ronaldo reaches new milestone

Sports Brief earlier reported on Ronaldo reaching a new goalscoring milestone at Al-Nassr.

By scoring an 87th-minute penalty to give his side a vital win, he has now scored 30 goals for Al-Nassr. 24 of those goals have come in the SPL and six in the Arab Club Champions Cup.

Ronaldo also won his first trophy with Al-Nassr, the Arab Club Champions Cup, in August. He also won the Golden Boot in the competition.
