FootballPostecoglou Gives Hilarious Response to Question on FPL and James Maddison
- Tottenham will play host to Liverpool at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow evening
- James Maddison has been in fine form for Spurs since joining from relegated Leicester City
- Ange Postecoglou had a hilarious response to a question on the midfielder's inclusion in FPL
Tottenham Hotspur boss, Ange Postecoglou is one of the new kings on the microphone in the Premier League and he proved that yet again while previewing the Liverpool game.
The Australian coach took over permanently over the summer, leaving Celtic to replace Ryan Mason, who was the second interim manager after the departure of Antonio Conte.
Postecoglou is making an immediate impact to the team and was awarded the manager of the month in August after guiding Spurs to an unbeaten start to the new season.
One of his earliest assignments was sanctioning the £40 million move for attacking midfielder, James Maddison from the relegated Leicester City, as reported by Sky Sports.
Postecoglou knocks back FPL question
Fantasy Premier League is one of the biggest games in football and some players have become assets while some managers have become a nightmare for fantasy coaches.
Pep Guardiola's is probably the biggest nightmare with his rotation famously dubbed 'Pep roulette'.
A journalist quizzed Postecoglou if Maddison would start and if he should include him in his FPL team and the Spurs boss's response had the whole press room laughing.
"Mate, you can do whatever you like! It's of zero interest to me," he said, as quoted by Football Daily.
Madders limped off with a knock in the 2-2 North London derby draw against Arsenal, but the former Celtic boss confirmed he trained normally and his availability depended on final checks.
The England international has scored twice and provided four assists, and was awarded the league's Player of the Month in a double honour for Spurs.

FootballPostecoglou's response to Kane's transfer
Sports Brief also reported on Postecoglou's response to Harry Kane's transfer fee and how it would be spent after a question from a journalist ahead of Spurs' season opener against Brentford.
The Australian confirmed the club were braced for the Englishman's departure and their transfer strategy had been planned around Kane leaving, before adding a witty comment about his wife.
