The Playmaker sensors are placed in a strategic place to get accurate stats, according to the South African.

It is placed directly on the cleats, which makes it easier to get the information needed, whether the player used the boot indoors or outdoors. Over 200 football clubs and academies globally have partnered with The Playermaker tracker.

The technology has been selected as a member of FIFA's Innovation Program and certified by the football governing body to be used in official games.

In an interview with iDiskiTimes, The Orlando Pirates Icon claims that it is good news that FIFA has approved the device, which would make it easy for them to trade in the football market.

Neymar honoured by PUMA with special boots

Sports Brief earlier reported that Neymar Junior was honoured by PUMA, who - with his help - designed 78 limited-edition football boots that will be given to the most important people in his career.

The 31-year-old went into the Bolivia clash tied with Pele on 77 goals but ended the game with 79 goals in 125 international appearances. Pele played for the South American nation between 1957 and 1971.

The details on the boots are immaculate, featuring a combination of white gold and matte gold. The shoes have 10 unique icons from images created by Neymar to represent the 10 special moments in his life.
