Super Eagles legend Sunday Oliseh has urged Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to leave Italian Serie A side Napoli after the TikTok controversy following his penalty miss.
The Super Eagles striker was trolled by the Italian side on their official TikTok page, after missing a decisive penalty that could have given them all three points against Bologna over the weekend.
The video didn't go down well with the Nigerian, and he decided to delete everything related to Napoli on his official page on Instagram, followed by snubbing his teammates on his way to the club’s facility.
Osimhen maintained his professionalism on the pitch, as he was on target in his club's 4-1 win over Udinese on Wednesday, September 27.
There have been several reactions from fans and pundits on the incident, and former Super Eagles coach Olisheh has shared his opinion on the issue, according to Soccernet.
Reacting to a video of Osimhen snubbing his teammates, posted by Fabrizio Romano, Oliseh claimed that the striker should leave the Italian side.
"Forever proud to be Nigerian; One must show personality, work hard & refuse to be intimidated. let Racists and ingrates talk! That's why they are eternal losers who secretly wish they were created like you! Osimhen needs to leave Napoli as soon as yesterday," he tweeted on X.
Osimhen would be in action for Rudi Garcia's side this weekend against Lecce and their big clash with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League next week.
