Greenwood's assist helps Getafe in 2-2 draw

The match kicked off with Athletic Club taking the lead after just six minutes, albeit in a somewhat fortunate manner after Yuri Berchiche's free kick slipped through the grasp of goalkeeper, David Soria.

However, Getafe swiftly restored parity when Greenwood's impeccable cross from a subsequent corner kick found Gaston Alvarez, who expertly headed the ball into the net six minutes into the second half.

Red-hot Ghanaian forward, Inaki Williams continued his impressive form by netting his third consecutive goal since the international break, thereby putting the Bilbao outfit back in the lead.

Nevertheless, Jiménez's team managed to equalise for the second time in the 83rd minute, securing a well-earned draw for Getafe as they departed the Basque region with a point in hand.

How did Greenwood perform?

According to MySportDab, the Manchester United loanee lasted the entire duration of the match, providing an assist and creating two chances.

The Englishman also mustered one shot on target while making six recoveries in the process, also highlighting the defensive aspect of his game.
