Brilliant Khuzwayo has fired a shot at fans of one of his former clubs.
The former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper has weighed in on his former side’s supporters, labelling them as soft.
As noted by FARPost, Khuzwayo compared how fans treated former players when they messed up and how they’ve been with Brandon Petersen.
He agreed with one fan online who believed that Petersen should be punished for his recent mistakes.
“Kabelo Metsimetsi made one mistake against Ajax Cape Town and it was game over for him. The Khosi fans have become too soft I should say,” he wrote in a social media post, which he later deleted.
Petersen has been criticised of late due to the costly errors he has made but retains the trust of the Amakhosi management.
Who is Brilliant Khuzwayo?
Khuzwayo was a goalkeeper who spent seven years with the Soweto giants.
He was a part of the last Amakhosi team to win the 2014/15 DStv Premiership title.
As noted by Transfermarkt, he played 34 games for the Amakhosi before signing for Orlando Pirates at the start of the 2018/19 season. He never played an official match for Pirates before retiring from the sport with an ankle injury.
