Erik ten Hag has delivered an update on exiled Manchester United forward, Jadon Sancho following his side's win over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
Sancho was not part of the squad that played the Eagles at Old Trafford during the third round of the tournament on Tuesday night.
The Englishman is currently suspended from all first-team activities after he clashed with ten Hag before the international break.
The former Borussia Dortmund star landed himself in trouble after he publicly called out the United boss for not selecting him for their Premier League trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal.
Sancho has since not featured for the Red Devils, with The Mirror reporting that he has been exiled from all first-team facilities at United - including the team dining room.
Ten Hag's update on Sancho
Speaking after Man United's Carabao Cup clash against Palace, ten Hag gave a blunt answer when asked about Sancho's situation.
"That is up to him, I don’t speak about unavailable players," the Dutchman said via Sky Sports when asked if anything had been resolved with Sancho.
As it stands, it still remains unclear when Sancho could be reintegrated into the first team, with speculation mounting he could be left with no choice but to leave Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, despite his absence, the Red Devils were still able to secure a 3-0 morale-boosting win over Palace to book a spot in the next round of the Carabao Cup.
