Morgan Mammila certainly has a way with words.
The Chippa United coach has often left fans in stitches with his pre-, and post-match comments.
As noted by Goal, he once claimed that his side's fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns was bigger than the Soweto Derby, and now he's topped that with his recent comments.
Mammila left fans bemused after his side’s victory over SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership when he touched on how he wanted to shape them into a ruthless side.
“If we have to be a ruthless team, let us be Brighton of the English Premier League. That team says if Manchester (United) doesn’t want to chase Manchester City, let’s go behind Manchester (City).
“So we are going to give each and every team a very difficult task when they come here,” he said.
Chippa flying high after 8 games
Chippa are certainly giving teams a difficult task this season, as they have jumped up to fourth on the table.
They have won three games, drawn three, and lost two so far, and find themselves on 12 points. They are two points off second place.
Brighton's impressive showing in 6 games
Brighton are also enjoying a brilliant start to their season, and are currently third on the EPL table.
Brighton have won five of their six games this season and only lost one. They are three points behind log leaders, Manchester City.
