Sadio Mane's love affair with fans of Al-Nassr keeps growing after his leading role in the club's thumping win over Ohod in the King Cup on Monday night.

The Senegalese forward scored as the Knights of Najd thumped the second-tier Saudi Arabian side 5-1 to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Mane was in fine form for Al-Nassr again despite the absence of captain, Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a video shared on social media after the game, fans of the club were spotted chanting Mane's name as he waved back while walking down the tunnel.

The Senegalese star is gradually becoming a cult hero for the Saudi Pro League side, having already helped them win the Arab Club Champions Cup in August.

The former Liverpool forward, together with his new strike partner and 'bro' Ronaldo, has contributed over 20 goals this season for the Knights of Najd.

Mane joined Al-Nassr in the summer transfer window from German giants, Bayern Munich following a tough spell in the Bundesliga, as reported by Transfermarkt.

Sports Brief also reported on Mane reacting after Al-Nassr's emphatic win the King Cup against Ohod on Monday.

The Senegalese winger opened the scoring floodgates after breaking the deadlock early in the tournament game.

Despite conceding an equaliser before half-time, Al-Nassr went on to win despite missing the talismanic Ronaldo.
