FootballPSG’s Training Centre Problem Forces Luis Enrique to Disrupt Routine for Kylian Mbappe, Others
- Paris Saint Germain recently moved to their newly built training centre
- The training centre situated at Poissy appears to come with a slight problem
- Reports have stated the club have struggled to train at the new training centre
Paris Saint Germain might not have had the best of starts to the 2023/24 season, and this could be due to a number of factors.
While reports of the players struggling to adapt to the philosophy of new manager Luis Enrique remain a valid reason for the club's inconsistent start, others have hinted at the changes made at the club's training centre as a critical factor.
However, a report from L'Equipe may have just provided further clarity on the Ligue 1 giant's inconsistent start to the season.
Cause of PSG's inconsistent start identified?
As reported by The Athletic, the Ligue 1 champions recently moved to their new state-of-the-art training centre in Poissy.
Nontheless, L'Equipe's report has stated the Parisian club are facing a significant challenge with the new training venue.
The media outlet states the Poissy area where the training facility is situated is too windy, which has consistently caused Luis Enrique's side difficulties regarding the completion of their training routines.
It further states the wind could be so gusty sometimes that the players and the coaching staff find it difficult to walk against it, hence mostly resolving to call time on their training sessions.
While club president Nasser Al-Khelaid is reported to be aware of the situation, nothing seems to have been done to remedy the situation so far.
Luis Enrique's side will hope the club can profer a permanent solution to the challenges faced at their new training centre as they shift their focus to Friday's match against Clermont foot.
