Harry Kane had an eventful weekend in Germany. He scored his first hat-trick in the Bundesliga, donned the traditional Lederhosen, and drank some beer at the annual Oktoberfest celebrations.
That was not all; the former Tottenham Hotspur striker also got to meet his German doppelganger at the event and got to take a picture with him for the first time.
The doppelganger, Steffen, has reportedly been in contact with the England captain since his summer transfer to Bayern Munich. Steffen has been a star in Munich ever since the striker joined the Bavarians.
On his Instagram account, he has posted photos of himself wearing Kane's number nine jersey. Two days ago, he posted a photo of himself along with the Englishman and officials from his new club.
Danny McLaughlin is another one of Kane's most popular doppelgangers. He is a celebrity in England and revealed that young fans of the striker always ask him for pictures when he is out and about.
Harry Kane makes Bayern history
Meanwhile, on September 23, Kane made Bayern Munich history after his hat-trick against VfL Bochum in a 7-0 win.
The English skipper became the first player in club history to score seven goals in the first five league appearances.
Gerd Müller (1965), Miroslav Klose (2007), and Mario Mandžukić (2012) each scored five in five first league games.
Kane admits to feeling Bayern Munich pressure
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kane is already feeling the pressure of putting on a Bayern Munich shirt despite having a brilliant start to his career with the reigning Bundesliga champions.
The Englishman was on target for the Bavarians on his UEFA Champions League debut, netting the club's third goal as they breezed past familiar foes Manchester United 4-3 at the Allianz Arena.
However, Kane also admitted that there was additional expectation on him to perform well for the German giants considering the hefty price tag they paid to former club, Tottenham Hotspur.
