Al-Hilal manager, Jorge Jesus has stated that he has a fantastic relationship with Brazil superstar, Neymar Jr. despite rumours suggesting that both parties have fallen out.
The 31-year-old forward was rumoured to have had a dressing room bust-up with his coach, leading to the Al-Hilal manager dropping the player for the club’s King Cup win against Al-Jabalain on Monday.
According to Football365, Jesus and Neymar were 'very close' to a physical altercation following the match against Uzbekistan side, Navbahor Namangan, which led to the player 'demanding' his manager be fired.
The Portuguese coach has now come out to refute those rumours, claiming they two have a good relationship and adding the Brazilian was only dropped from the squad because he was not 'physically prepared'.
Neymar made his long-awaited debut for Al-Hilal last week after his £78 million move to the Saudi Pro League side against Al-Riyadh. He has made two more appearances for the club since.
