Spurs and rivals, Arsenal squared off in a thrilling Premier League clash on Sunday, September 24, at the Emirates Stadium.
The tie ended in a 2-2 epic draw, with Saka and Son Heung-Min finding the back of the net. The Mirror reports that the Arsenal ace put the Gunners ahead in the 25th minute via a deflection off Cristian Romero.
Fans were quick to note Saka's celebration after the goal, with the England ace taunting Maddison by copying his unique 'dart-throwing' celebration.
Maddison calls out Saka after taunt
However, Maddison has given a perfect response to Saka's antics. Speaking after the match, the former Leicester City star was asked to share his thoughts about the taunt.
The Spurs star went on to give a brilliant answer on the subject, saying:
"Me and Bukayo had a bit of banter and trash-talking on international duty. I got told that he did the darts celebration and he must have still been doing it when I turned him for the first goal I think," Maddison said via Sportbible.
"I'll have a little word with him in there," he jokingly added.
Maddison was making reference to his assist for Seung-Min, where he rinsed the Arsenal ace before setting up his teammate for the equaliser.
