FootballDomino’s Pizza Troll Chelsea After Defeat to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge
- Chelsea lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa to compound their early season woes
- Englishman Ollie Watkins punished the Blues, who had been wasteful in front of goal
- The Blues received a merciless troll from Domino's Pizza on social media
Chelsea fans have many things to be angry about after their defeat to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge and a fast food company joining in making fun of them.
Mauricio Pochettino's men went into the game, having picked up five points from the opening five games, knowing all maximum points were needed to help them climb up the table.
The Blues dominated early proceedings but failed to take their chances and have goalkeeper Robert Sanchez to thank after two brilliant saves helped them stay in the game.
Malo Gusto leaving the pitch after he was shown a straight red card worsened the after, and Ollie Watkins pounced minutes later after Thiago Silva lost the ball carelessly in midfield.
Domino's Pizza troll Chelsea
As noted by The Athletic, the Blues have failed to score in 13 games this year, including their last three games, a very worrisome stat for fans but a sweet savour for rivals.
Fast food company Domino's Pizza joined in the trolling after revealing the number of pizzas they have delivered since the Blues last found the back of the net.
"We’ve delivered about 852,609 pizzas since Chelsea last scored a goal," the account tweeted.
Specsavers mock Sheffield defenders
The Blues were not the only recipient of trolling on social media yesterday. Sheffield United defenders got a dose of their own from Specsavers after their 8-0 loss to Newcastle United at Bramall Lane.
"Free eye tests for Sheffield United defenders tomorrow," it wrote.
The Magpies had eight different goalscorers for their goals, a Premier League record excluding own goals, according to Opta Joe.

FootballPochettino pinpoints Chelsea's problem
Sports Brief reported that Pochettino pinpointed Chelsea's problem after Villa defeat, indirectly calling out misfiring striker Nicolas Jackson, who has picked up more cards than goals.
Jackson received his fifth booking of the season in the sixth game, having scored just one goal. It's baffling for the manager who rued their lack of cutting edge in the final third as the reason for their downfall.
