Mauricio Pochettino's men settled for a drab draw in their last outing against Bournemouth and were hoping to get their campaign back on track when they hosted Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
However, the 2021 Champions League winners were unable to see off the Villans as they fell to a 1-0 humbling defeat at home.

ESPN reports that Chelsea have managed just five points in six games and haven't scored any goal in three of their latest fixtures.
The Stamford Bridge dwellers' worrying run of form now has them occupying 14th in the standings and sit just four points out of the relegation zone.
Their defeat to Aston Villa and this stat saw a section of fans claim that the Pochettino-tutored side could be relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
