Nigerian forward, Odion Ighalo has refreshed the memories of many football fans in Nigeria, as he replicates Rashidi Yekini's famous celebration in Al Wehda's win over Abha at the King Abdul Aziz Stadium on Friday.

The former Manchester United striker has been an important addition to Al Wehda's attack since joining them in the summer.

The Red Giant defeated Ahba 4-0, with Ighalo being one of the scorers for the night.

The former Udinese striker brought back the memories of Yekini's famous celebration at the 1994 FIFA World Cup, held in the USA.

Ighalo was seen holding the net after scoring the fourth goal of the game.

Yekini, who is all-time Nigeria's top scorer, scored the nation's first goal at the World Cup against Bulgaria.

In the same vein, Ighalo was seen holding the net of the opponents after scoring in Al Wehda's victory.

Al Wehda dominated for most part of the game against Abha, and deserved to take all three points.

The Knights of Mecca signed the Nigerian forward in the summer and has been putting up great performances for the Saudi side.

The former Watford striker has scored five goals and he is yet to provide an assist, according to Transfermarkt.

Ighalo scores fastest hat trick in Saudi

Sports Brief earlier reported Nigerian forward, Odion Ighalo needed only 35 minutes to score the fastest hat-trick in the Saudi Pro League this season.

The former Manchester United striker was in red-hot form as Al Wehda defeated Damac following the resumption of the league after the international break.

Ighalo also became th fifth player to score a hat-trick in the league this season, joining Cristiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr, Al Ahli's Roberto Firminho, Malcom and Aleksandr Mitrovic of Al Hilal.
