Later, the former Real Madrid star bagged his second goal of the evening in the 52nd minute.

The 38-year-old skillfully cut inside on his left foot and unleashed a powerful low shot from outside the area, finding the bottom corner of the net.

Ronaldo's goal set the tone for a dominant first half by the Saudi Pro League side, with Talisca adding a second goal just 17 minutes into the game.

While Al Ahli attempted to stage a comeback with goals from former Barcelona player Franck Kessie in the 30th minute and Riyad Mahrez in the 50th minute, the duo of Talisca and Ronaldo, both securing braces, extended Al-Nassr's lead to 4-2.

Al-Nassr's packed schedule continues as they prepare to face Ohod in the Kings Cup of Champions on Monday.

Ronaldo reaches superb milestone

By scoring his ninth goal this season, Ronaldo now has 33 goals in 2023. 14 goals came from the SPL last season, six from the Arab Lub Champions Cup and eight this term. He scored five of those goals for Portugal in the 2024 European Championships qualifiers, per Transfermarkt.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar has also assisted seven goals in 2023.

He has a total of 41 goals plus assists in 2023 in 39 games, which is an incredible milestone for a player his age. That number will go up before the year ends.

Ronaldo achieves new milestone

Sports Brief also reported that Al-Nassr's recent victory against Al-Ahli, however, served to deepen the Portuguese star's imprint on football's record books.

He now holds the record for the most wins in men's football history with an impressive total of 777 victories, surpassing his rival Lionel Messi.

Following the game, the forward expressed his affection for the Saudi league. He will now redirect his attention to the upcoming match against Al Taee scheduled for next Friday.
