Roque, who has been involved in 14 league goals in 22 appearances this season, recently signed a contract with La Liga powerhouse Barcelona and was billed to complete his switch to the Blaugrana in January.

The young forward, who clutched his ankle, was on the receiving end of a bad tackle from Internacional defender Nicolas Hernandez and was subsequently stretched off in tears.
The future Barcelona forward is expected to be out for a minimum of three months, according to the media outlet report.
While the deal for the Brazilian sensation is finalised, the injury could further derail his early switch to the Catalan club.
The €38 million signing was beginning to generate a buzz amongst Barcelona fans. However, this injury could now prolong the wait for the forward.

However, as Xavi’s side shifts their attention to their La Liga fixture against Celta Vigo, the club’s medical staff will be paying keen attention to the situation surrounding the young striker.
