Celebrated actor Dwayne Johnson recently left his fans in awe after sharing a throwback photo of himself as a 15 year old.

One would be forgiven to think the most marketable actor globally had it easy from his childhood but that is far from the case.

Thorugh several interviews over the years, The Rock has insisted he had quite the humble beginnings and spent his high school years in Honolulu, Hawaii at President William McKinley High School,

One of his first ever ventures was professional wrestling and as such, he had started developing a passion for body building at quite a tender age.

That would perhaps explain why thousands of fans were a bit unconvinced by one of his latest posts where he gave a brief tour to his past as a teenager with big dreams.

In the photo accessed by TUKO.co.ke, the 47-year old is dressed solely in a pair of white shorts as he tries to flaunt what looks like a developing athletic body.

While it is clear the The rock is quite young in the picture, fans were not convinced of his age as he looked quite mature for a teenager.

For one thing, he looked a lot muscular than any 15-year old and in his caption, he admitted that his looks made people in his high school think he was undercover police.

"Throwback to that special time when I was a 15 year old punk kid, 6’4, barely 200lbs, creepy mustache and forced to leave Hawai’i to live in Nashville, TN - where I just enrolled in a new high school - and everyone (students and teachers) treated me like I had the plague and stayed away because they were all convinced I was an undercover cop,” he explained.
