According to ESPN, Kane has now revealed that he judges himself by the highest standards and against the game's greatest players, as Messi and Ronaldo remain his greatest inspiration.

“I think of what they've done, they are as good in their 30s as they were in their 20s. Me just turning 30 now, it obviously gives me excitement to know if I keep my body in good shape and keep my mentality right, I could be playing at the highest level for as long as I want to do it.”

Kane turned 30 in June, and the English forward is aiming to win titles with Bayern Munich, including the Champions League, as he winds down his career in Germany.

Henry aims subtle jibe at Kane

Meanwhile, Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has joked that Harry Kane looks good in red and white, aiming an Arsenal jibe at the former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Football London reports.

Henry trolled the England captain following Bayern Munich's win over Manchester United, in which the 30-year-old forward scored his first Champions League goal for the Bavarians.

Kane has adapted swiftly to life in Germany, scoring four goals in his first four Bundesliga appearances before scoring at the Allianz Arena in the Bavarians' 4-3 Champions League victory over Manchester United.

Kane admits Bayern Munich pressure

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kane is already feeling the pressure of putting on a Bayern Munich shirt despite having a brilliant start to his career with the reigning Bundesliga champions.

The Englishman was on target for the Bavarians on his UEFA Champions League debut, netting the club’s third goal as they breezed past familiar foes Manchester United 4-3 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, September 20.

Kane swapped Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern for £ 100 million this summer, and the 30-year-old forward confessed that the huge price tag has added extra pressure on him to deliver.
