- Harry Kane has tipped Manchester United to rediscover their best form again
- The Red Devils suffered another defeat against the Bavarians in the Champions League
- Manchester United have won just two matches in the 2023/24 season
Harry Kane feels sympathy for Manchester United following the English club’s difficult start to the 2023/24 season after yet another loss in the Champions League.
The Red Devils were hammered 4-3 at the Allianz Arena by Bayern Munich in their Group A opener, with the England captain scoring the third for the German giants on his UCL debut.
According to Manchester Evening News, Kane knows Manchester United have enough talent to "get back to their best" despite a difficult start to the season, which has seen them win just two matches.
"They're obviously going through a difficult spell, suffering with some injuries as well. They're a team with a lot of talent, which you saw in the last five minutes. They can score goals and turn games around really quickly.
But overall, I'm not too worried about them, I'm more focused on myself. I'm sure they'll improve and get back to their best."
United have suffered four losses already this season, with three coming in the Premier League. The Red Devils have also conceded over three goals consecutively for the first time since the 1970s.
Onana takes blame for United defeat
Meanwhile, United's goalkeeper, Andre Onana has taken responsibility for the defeat at the Allianz Arena, The Guardian reports.
The Cameroonian goalie revealed that he let the team down after his howler from a Leroy Sane shot led to the Bavarians taking the lead in the disappointing 4-3 defeat in Germany.
Further goals from Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane, and Mathys Tel ensured that Bayern took all three points despite a late fightback from the Red Devils with two late goals from Casemiro.
