FootballHeung min Son and Bukayo Saka Involved in Extremely Awkward Moment at Fashion Event
- An interesting video has emerged online of Bukayo Saka and Heung-min Son sitting next to each other
- The pair will come up against each other over the weekend in the North London derby
- Saka and Son seemed uncomfortable sitting next to each other at a Burberry fashion show in London
Football fans could see the tension between Bukayo Saka and Heung-min Son as the two sat next to each other at a Burberry fashion show in London.
Son and Saka are both ambassadors of the luxury brand, and inevitably had to run into each other at the fashion event earlier this week.
In the front row of the catwalk, the two superstars were forced to sit next to each other, but unlike at footballing events, no niceties were exchanged between the pair.
In fact, there was an eerie awkwardness between the two players as they sat next to each other without saying a word.
Neither bothered to look at each other, nor did they try to make small talk if a video shared by @TikiTakaConnor is anything to go by.
Saka was perhaps the more awkward one as he was seen fiddling with his neck in a clear show of nerves.
Son was told to adjust himself to make room for photographers.
Fans on social media who saw the awkward scenes were quick to poke fun at the duo, who perhaps have the North London derby in mind.
Here are some reactions from the fans:

"They aren't ready to sit together."

"They look very uncomfortable and Son just can't believe he's sitting next to the best winger in the world."
The North London derby
Guardiola happy to hold onto 'unique' Walker
FootballPerhaps the awkwardness between Son and Saka was due to the highly anticipated North London derby, which will happen over the weekend.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur go into the derby on Sunday in fairly good form, as both have collected 13 points from a possible 15 in their opening five fixtures, as per PremierLeague.com.
The derby will have a ‘winner takes all’ look to it as whoever wins will leapfrog the other team on the log.
Son Heung-min refuses to touch fan’s phone
Earlier, Sports Brief reported on how Son Heung-min declined to touch a fan’s phone after she asked for a selfie.
Ahead of South Korea’s game against Saudi Arabia on September 12, Son was captured on video interacting with one of the fans, who asked for a selfie.
In the video shared by Tiktok user Stevie_King, the fan offered her device for Son to take the picture but the former Bayer Leverkusen man politely folded his hands to decline.
