Harry Kane is already feeling the pressure of putting on a Bayern Munich shirt despite having a brilliant start to his career with the reigning Bundesliga champions.
The Englishman was on target for the Bavarians in his UEFA Champions League debut, netting the club’s third goal as they breezed past familiar foes, Manchester United 4-3 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, September 20.
According to GOAL, Kane swapped Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern for £100mil this summer and the 30-year-old forward confessed the huge price tag added extra pressure on him to deliver.
"As a striker, I know I'll get chances. It's exciting to play with them. We're still getting to know each other. I'm excited for what's to come. Whenever there's a big price tag, there's a big expectation and you want to repay the club who have put faith in you."
Kane has scored five goals in six appearances for the Bundesliga giants and the former Tottenham forward is looking to score more goals for the Bavarians this season.

Meanwhile, Kane is confident Man United will bounce back despite their slow start to the 2023/24 season after yet another defeat, this time to Bayern Munich, Manchester Evening News reports.
The 30-year-old forward stated the Red Devils have enough talent at their disposal to get the Premier League club back to their best after their 4-3 defeat to the Bavarians in the Champions League.
Kane was a summer target for Man United but the England captain opted to join Bayern Munich instead, enjoying a blistering start to his career in Germany while the Red Devils have been struggling.
