Andre Onana had one of the worst nights of his career during Manchester United's defeat at Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League Group A opener.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper's early mistake opened the floodgates as the Red Devils suffered a 4-3 defeat, extending their losing streak to three matches in a row.
The ex-Ajax goalkeeper was left dejected and broken after failing to grab Leroy Sane's shot for the opener.
However, in photos shared on social media, teammate Sergio Reguilon was quick to encourage Onana while urging the goalkeeper to remain strong for the game.
Unfortunately, Onana conceded four minutes after his first mistake after Serge Gnabry doubled the Bavarians' lead before half-time.
After the break, Rasmus Hojlund netted his debut goal for Manchester United as he halved the deficit, but Harry Kane responded from the spot to restore Bayern's two-goal lead.
In a dramatic final ten minutes, Casemiro scored a brace, but Mathys Tel's 92nd-minute strike ensured the hosts picked all three points at home, as reported by skysports.com.
The English giants will be hoping to bounce back when they travel to Burnley on Saturday.
Onana admits struggles in replacing De Gea
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Onana has admitted that replacing David de Gea has not been an easy task, following his difficult start to the season.
The Cameroonian has already conceded 10 goals in five English Premier League games, including three in the loss to Brighton and Hove Albion last Saturday.

FootballOnana nominated for FIFA Best goalkeeper
Morocco's Yassine Bounou and Cameroon's Onana have been nominated for FIFA's 'Best Goalkeeper Award' after stellar years under review.
The Africans excelled at both club and country and will battle with Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois, Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Ederson of Manchester City for the award.
Onana, who now plays for Man United, led Inter Milan to the Champions League final. Bounou starred as Morocco made history by reaching the semi-final of the 2022 World Cup.
